Didier is a Senior Project Associate supporting Hester Street’s community design work and GIS-related built environment projects. His work includes supporting 2020 Census Complete Count efforts with a focus on producing outreach materials for Black New Yorkers and other hard-to-reach populations. He is interested in using urban design tools and critical thinking to help build equitable futures for Black communities and communities of color.
Didier is a graduate of Brown University’s joint Architecture program with the Rhode Island School of Design. Before Hester Street, he worked with Providence-based architecture firm AD-WO on their contribution to MoMA’s Reconstructions, an exhibition on architecture and blackness in American Cities, and also interned with Sasaki Associates and the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. In his free time, he woodworks, camps, and cooks with friends.
