Rehanna supports Hester Street’s work on community design and planning projects with partner organizations citywide and in New Jersey. She conducts mapping analyses, neighborhood research and designs and implements community engagement materials, tools and strategies. She has recently worked to develop a model for community control of data for the People’s Data Warehouse, and is developing strategies and recommendations for supportive housing, workforce development and health services in the Bushwick Brownfield Opportunity Area.

Rehanna has also worked with the development and communications teams to support Hester Street’s fundraising activities and messaging. She has a bachelor’s in International Affairs from John Cabot University and an M.S. in Design and Urban Ecologies from Parsons School of Design. Prior to Hester Street she has interned as an urban planner in New Jersey’s County Government, was a Civic Design Fellow with IDEO and a media and organizing intern with Right to the City Alliance.
