Patrice is a Project Associate supporting Hester Street’s capacity building, policy advocacy and participatory planning projects with community-based organizations working to ensure low-income communities and communities of color thrive across New York City and beyond.
Patrice brings over five years of experience in affordable housing policy advocacy, ensuring racial equity within community development practices and prioritizing collective community ownership of land and neighborhood assets with community organizations and key government agencies across New York City. Most recently, Patrice served her Bronx community with Bronx Legal Services providing direct anti-eviction legal services and related public benefits advocacy.
Patrice holds a J.D. degree from City University of New York (CUNY) School of Law where she focused on Community Development, Housing and Economic Justice, and also holds a Bachelor’s in Sociology from Fordham University. Patrice is a 2013 Fellow alumna of the Fellows Program in Public Affairs with Coro New York Leadership Center.
