Daniel Ramirez is a community development professional with over a decade of experience across a variety of different projects including affordable housing, mixed-use, and nonprofit social services.
Before joining Hester Street, Daniel worked for ten years at Capital Impact Partners, a national nonprofit community development financial institution (CDFI), where he led financing for projects across the country and was responsible for growing and developing newer lending staff. He has financed projects at each stage of the development cycle including predevelopment, acquisition, and construction, and has extensive experience with community development financing tools such as the New Markets Tax Credits and Low Income Housing Tax Credits programs. Daniel also previously worked at Calvert Impact Capital on their risk management team. Daniel has a B.A. in Mathematics and Hispanic Studies from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN.
