Hester Street is celebrating another year of building neighborhood justice. Please join us for a night of food, drink and dance as we honor inspired leaders for socially, racially and economically just neighborhoods:

ARTs East New York Inc. uses the transformative power of the arts as a tool for social and economic change – addressing issues ranging from health disparities to gentrification and displacement in East New York.

Brooklyn Public Library, one of our most fiercely democratic institutions – a “Palace for the People” – offers 2.6 million+ people in 59 Brooklyn neighborhood locations the dignity and exhilaration of learning, civic engagement and connection across difference.

NYC Public Advocate Jumaane Williams has made a career of standing shoulder to shoulder with marginalized communities fighting for fair, safe and affordable housing; criminal justice reform; justice and equity for all.

With music by the legendary DJ Bobbito Garcia a.k.a. Kool Bob Love!
