James is a philanthropic partnership builder with a passion for community-driven solutions. He supports Hester Street’s development, fundraising, and communications strategies. Before Hester Street, he worked with PAL to provide recreational, educational, cultural, and social programs for low-income youth and families in New York City. James also previously worked with the U.S. Soccer Foundation, where he collaborated with community partners across the country to counteract health and socioeconomic barriers and engaged politicians at the state and federal level on issues surrounding mentorship, health and wellness, and the built environment.
A Philadelphia-area native, James graduated from The George Washington University with a B.A. in Political Science and Minor in Anthropology.
