James’ work includes engaging public, private, and individual donors and collaborating with project staff on the organization’s projects. Before Hester Street, he worked with PAL to provide academic support and enrichment activities for low-income youth and families in New York City. James also previously worked with the U.S. Soccer Foundation, where he collaborated with community partners across the country to counteract health and socioeconomic barriers and transform underutilized spaces into activity hubs.

A Philadelphia-area native, James graduated from The George Washington University with a B.A. in Political Science and Minor in Anthropology.
