Amanda is a Project Associate supporting Hester Street on their work with the 2020 Census and other relevant projects. On her teams, she creates layouts for reports, conducts data analysis and visualization, demographic and neighborhood research, mapping + zoning analyses, as well as implements community engagement materials, tools, and strategies. She has experience providing local community-based organizations with outreach material for Census 2020 efforts.
Amanda holds a B.A. in Architecture from Brown University, where her studies focused on the role of critical social architecture as a means for equity. Before Hester Street, she worked in a range of fields including internships in architecture and graphic design. Most recently, she worked as a production assistant in film and TV.
