Your valuable donation helps HSC meet specific participatory design goals:

PURCHASE MATERIALS: $50-$500

Support HSC’s design-build projects and art installations in local public schools and public spaces.

SPONSOR A CITIZEN DESIGNER INTERN FOR A SUMMER: $1,000

Fund an interdisciplinary summer internship for youth that combines mentoring with community design, research and advocacy.

FUND A COMMUNITY DESIGN WORKSHOP: $2500

Provide resources for design materials, presentations, visioning activities, and translation services to involve a community in a design project.

BUILD A PROJECT: $5,000-$10,000

Transform a neglected public space in a public school or park with a design-build project such as seating, planters, signage or artwork.

ADOPT-A-SCHOOL: $20,000

  • Purchase materials for a design-build project within the school’s campus or local community.
  • Build school-wide capacity for design education through professional development workshops.
  • Encourage young adults to take ownership of their community improvements.
